To deal with any cases of sexual harassment strictly following the procedural guidelines as per UGC Visakha guidelines 2015, including conducting a preliminary enquiry with documentation and recommendations
In case of allegations not falling under the purview of sexual harassment, the ICC may refer such complaints to the Grievance Redressal Cell. Only specific cases of sexual harassment and sexual violence towards any gender fall under the purview of the ICC.
If the ICC concludes during an inquiry that the allegations were false, malicious or misleading, the complainant may be liable to punishment as per the relevant provision of the UGC Regulations, 2015.
