The Anti-Ragging Committee of Loreto College, Kolkata conducted a special orientation session for the newly inducted faculty of the institution on April 18, 2026 at 1:15 PM. 8 faculty members were introduced to the structure and composition of the Anti-Ragging Committee and the Anti-Ragging Squad at Loreto College, based on the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions. The functions of the Committee and Squad and the redressal mechanisms in place were also explained. The session concluded with a brief interaction, during which the queries of the faculty were duly addressed.
